Thanks to the internet it has become much easier to get hold of people’s names and find out about people and companies prior to calling them. One of the best online business networking websites is LinkedIn.

If you are not aware of it LinkedIn is a great online tool you can use to build a valuable network of contacts Linked In. With over 41 million members in over 200 countries and territories around the world LinkedIn is an interconnected network of experienced professionals from around the world, representing 170 industries. You can find, be introduced to, and collaborate with qualified professionals that you need to work with to accomplish your goals.

The beauty of LinkedIn is that it is purpose built for professional business networking unlike MySpace and Facebook. One of LinkedIn’s great assets is its free ‘group’ tool which allows anyone to create a group to exchange all kinds of information which can also send alerts or summaries to your email inbox. This is invaluable if you want to form or become part of a group that can cross-refer potential suppliers and related information.
